New 20/20 Club member Katina Pickens was born and raised in Waxahachie, TX. She is the sixth of nine children, having five sisters and three brothers, “raised by a strong, loving, caring, and God-fearing mother who is 73 years old.” Katina has lived in Oklahoma for the past 24 years, now living in Ardmore with her fiancé  Donnie Willis, Jr. She is the mother of daughter, Ashley, and son, Keyon, and the grandmother of two gorgeous little granddaughters - Paris, 11 months and Jewel, 8 months old.
 
Katina tells us, “I absolutely love spending time with my family, I love cooking, and love traveling with a passion. I am very warm-natured so of course I love the beach, ocean, and warm sun - anything tropical. Over the past years I have traveled to Cozumel, Cancun, Jamaica, and Clearwater Beach, FL. I have also been to Las Vegas, Atlanta, and New Orleans several times because I love the food and the atmosphere. I would love to travel more and experience other cultures in different countries.
 
“That is one of the reasons I joined this business -  to travel more and earn more. I am driven to succeed so that I can retire from my 18-year job in corporate America, and even with three degrees I never seem to move up. My WHY is huge enough to keep me motivated every day to stay plugged in on calls, attend meetings, promote launch events, and work on my personal development, which is reading 30 minutes or more every day (Go Pro, Building an Empire, and The Slight Edge). You have to be coachable, consistent, and have knowledge about both of your businesses. Videos, flyers, business cards – OH MY! You use these materials every day to promote your business. But where are you getting them? Are you using a PlanNet Black Business Card? Did you contact the corporate office to get your flyer approved? Did you create your own presentation or video?

We know you want the right tools to do your job WELL! We want you to have those tools. But please, PLEASE be careful! If you aren’t using a flyer that was created by PlanNet Marketing, then you must contact Compliance to get your flyer approved. If you aren’t ordering your Black Business Card from your Virtual Office, then you need to contact Compliance for approval. If you’re considering creating or using a presentation or video that wasn’t created by PlanNet Marketing, you have to contact Compliance to get approval - preferably, email us BEFORE you start creating this presentation. 

I promise, we aren’t trying to make life difficult for you. In fact, we’re trying to make it easier! We have business cards for sale in your Virtual Office (VO), presentations and videos in the Information Center in your VO, and if you’re hosting an event at a hotel with a Director present – we’ll create your flyer! How simple is that? 

We know some people like to create their own flyers and business cards, some even like to create their own videos. The problem is, you could unknowingly violate any number of statutes or regulations affecting PlanNet Marketing’s business. These violations, although they may be relatively few in number, could jeopardize the PlanNet Marketing opportunity for all of our Reps. 
 
Therefore, Reps must submit all written sales aids, promotional materials, advertisements, websites, and other literature to Compliance for approval prior to use.  All requests for approval of materials or websites should be sent via email to Compliance@plannetmarketing.com. Do not distribute or use any materials that have not been approved. Do not ever use the PlanNet Marketing logo without prior approval.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT Q&A

Q. How do I make sure I am getting emailed communications from PlanNet Marketing each week, including the reminders about the PlanNetNow! Blog?

A. There are two easy ways to make sure you're getting our emails:

1) At the bottom of any PlanNet Marketing site you will find a section labeled Newsletter. Simply enter your first and last name and your email address and click Subscribe under Newsletter Signup for a new REP account.

2) Log in to your PlanNet Marketing site and click My Account and then Edit Account Profile. Scroll to the bottom of this page and enter your email address and check the “Opt Me In” box, then click Update Profile.

If you have opted in, checked that your email address is correct, and are not receiving any emails, please check any spam or junk folders, your safe sender list or filters, or with your service provider. 

Also, if you have recently updated your email address to a new one, you will need to notify us to update all portions of our site as well. InteleTravel will need to be notified of any updates that need to occur on their site at 800-873-5353 or customerservice@inteletravel.com. If you should need assistance with this or any other updates on your PlanNet site, call support at 470-443-9330.

PlanNet Marketing’s new 20/20 Club member, Sonya Barnes, relates, “I’m originally from a small but proud agricultural community known as Belle Glade, FL, located in the sunny southern part of the state. I just recently moved from Jacksonville, FL in the north to my new home state of Maryland! I'm a mother of three wonderful children, wife of a loving husband, and an educator pursuing my Doctorate degree while working this business on a part-time basis. Now that I have access to a limitless amount of travel opportunities through this business, I will be going on more vacations like the 8-day/7-night Hawaiian vacation my hubby and I have experienced, as well as more international family vacations with the kids!

I attribute my success in PlanNet Marketing to consistently remembering my WHYs, which are my children, especially my son who has non-verbal autism. COMPLIANCE CORNER

It’s summer. At my house that means long, hot days with the kids who are out of school for the next few months. We play outside sometimes, we play inside any time mom gets too hot, we eat lots of popsicles, use lots of sunscreen, and I constantly must remind my teenage son to mow the lawn.
 
He does not enjoy mowing. In fact, he HATES it. Despises it even. If he’s outside playing football he’ll last for hours, but mowing the lawn? He’s inside every 10 minutes to get a drink of water or use the bathroom.
 
For Reps, following the Policies and Procedures might feel a little like mowing the lawn – you don’t want to do it. Maybe you even despise those silly rules. But did you know that it’s not only your responsibility to follow the rules – it’s your responsibility to tell us if someone else isn’t following them?!
 
That’s right – you’re supposed to report to Compliance (in writing) any violation of our corporate PlanNet Policies and Procedures and send any evidence to support your claim. Don’t worry – we’ll keep you and the info confidential so there won’t be repercussions for you.

Choosing not to mow your lawn for a few weeks might not seem like a big deal. In fact, my son asked me today why the grass couldn’t just be a few inches taller. What he doesn’t realize is if we don’t mow that lawn, City Hall could come out and issue a citation and/or a fine to me. It’s the same with PlanNet’s Policies and Procedures. We need to protect our company by following the rules and holding each other accountable to follow the rules. Just as I don’t want to draw negative attention from local city officials, PlanNet doesn’t want to draw negative attention from anyone.

EAGLE WEEKEND 2017

Eagle Weekend 2017 was held last weekend in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  It was THE most amazing event on the PlanNet! Eagle training began with Moment with a Mentor - Gold Builders and Directors of all levels had a three-minute opportunity to speak with a mentor for specialized attention and advice. At the end of the three-minute session, each person moved to the next mentor in line! Our team of mentors did an outstanding job with the challenging questions that were posed to them. Many thanks to our mentors: Donald Bradley, Andy Cauthen and Founding Directors Shedrick White, Orlanda Moore, Eileen Ross, JP Watkins and Walter & Tiffany Powell!
 

The next session showcased an outstanding lineup of speakers who shared their business expertise and knowledge with the eager crowd. Many thanks to Deborah Bradley, Orlanda Moore, DeJoire and Erick Benson, Tony Fleming, David Dacosta, Shedrick White, Andy Cauthen, and Chairman Don Bradley.

The highlight of the session was the presentation of the Presidential Sapphire Rings to DeJoire and Erick Benson, Tony Fleming, and David Dacosta! Congratulations on this exceptional accomplishment!

After lunch and free time, everyone decked out in their beautiful white attire for the All White Affair aboard a magnificent yacht. Deborah and Donald Bradley greeted everyone as they boarded in anticipation of an incredible dinner and dancing under the stars. Capping off this spectacular event was the Midnight Locker Room, Chairman Bradley’s mentorship meeting with Q&A from the group, which did not end until 3:30 am! Another amazing PlanNet Marketing event!

PlanNet Marketing announces the opening of Belize for Rep enrollments and ITA sales!

Welcome, Belize, to the ever-expanding PlanNet of Nations! Located on the eastern coast of Central America, with Caribbean Sea shorelines to the east and dense jungle to the west, Belize is an English-speaking nation of beauty, diverse culture, rich history, and travel opportunities. PlanNet Marketing announces today the opening of Belize for Rep enrollments and ITA sales!

Belize, formerly the colony of British Honduras, is the only country in Central America without a coastline on the Pacific Ocean (only the Caribbean Sea to its east), and the only one in the region with English as its official language. The country is a stable, peaceful democracy and the U.S. dollar is accepted everywhere. The population is small - about 374,000 warm, friendly people who welcome all visitors as honored guests. Tourism has become the mainstay of the economy as the old agricultural products - sugar, banana, and oranges - have lost ground.
 
Belize was the UK's last colony on the American mainland and still maintains strong ties with Britain. It did not attain independence until 1981, when it became a Commonwealth realm with the British monarch as its head of state. Belize is also a leader in protecting biodiversity and natural resources, with 37% of Belize's land territory falling under some form of official protection, giving Belize one of the most extensive systems of terrestrial protected areas in the Americas. The massive Belize Barrier Reef, dotted with hundreds of low-lying islands called cayes, hosts rich marine life and Belize’s jungle areas are home to Mayan ruins like Caracol, renowned for its towering pyramid.
