THE LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON: CHERYL JOHNSTON
1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
Was born in Glasgow, Scotland, currently living just outside Glasgow. I am a wife to Craig and mum to Dylan, who’s 18, and my two pets, Roma, the miniature daschund, and Nala, the cat. My hobbies are travelling the world, talking about holidays, looking for holidays and creating memories. I love to take photographs and I spend a lot of time with friends and family.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I’ve pushed myself out of my comfort zone; I’ve not let anyone get inside my head to create doubt. I’ve expressed gratitude daily for the life I am creating and manifesting what I want for the future. I feel so much more confident and happy. The people I have met as part of this journey have increased my vibrations on a daily basis. I am so grateful I said yes to this opportunity.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My family motivates me; providing a better life for my family, taking them to places we have only ever dreamed of. Creating memories we will never forget.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My mentor and upline, Rachael Lalji. Rachael gives so much out to the team, her energy, her work ethic is unbelievable. I aspire to be like her. Each and every one of those in my team are role models. They are all striving for a better life and equally all pushing each other to be winners in this thing called life.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Ambitious, Driven and Kind.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
If you're not living life on the edge, you’re taking up too much room; we are here for a good time, not a long time. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift; that’s why it’s called the present. Do what makes your heart happy. ❤️
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Travelling the world, no longer working in the corporate world 9 to 5 and feeling free of the chains of commercial work.

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Tatiana Tucker to the 40/40 Club! Tatiana Tucker is from Washington, DC, and she tells us, “I love to travel, coach competitive cheerleading and hang out with my two sons, ages six and one.
“Since joining PlanNet Marketing, my life has changed tremendously. I have been able to travel more by myself and with my children and earn an income that helps me live comfortably! I am grateful to the Directors on our team for helping me achieve this rank. Next stop, Directorship!”
PLANNET MARKETING WELCOMES TWO NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBERS!
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER OLA ABBAS!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Ola Abbas to the 20/20 Club! Ola is from Iraq and currently lives in Manchester, UK. She tells us, “I was born during a war, lived through a war, and immigrated from my country during another war. While in the UK, I completed my qualification and I currently work as a critical care and acute medicine consultant in the National Health Service. It’s in my blood to always find a way to make things work out for the best.
“My interests are of course travel, food, and fashion. I have visited 18 countries in 12 months in 2019, and overall I have been to over 80 cities in 30 different countries across three continents. My plan is to visit all 195 countries! My craziest travel intention is to travel the longest walking route in the world which spans from South Africa to Northern Russia; I hope I can make that a reality. I truly believe I wasn’t born to live in one place.
“I’m achieving success because I am consistent with my daily business-building activities and I am consistently developing my skill. I started my business with no business skills, near to no network in a foreign country where I had no family, very few friends, and also during a pandemic! But I understood that taking daily action and developing myself regardless of who’s around me, who supports me, and what’s happening in the world will get me the results I aspire to.
“The number one tip I can share with others to achieve any success they desire in life is to be hungry, willing, and coachable. It doesn’t matter where you are from, who you are, what experiences you’ve had in the past, or what people think you can and can’t do. If you are hungry, willing, and coachable then you can achieve any level of success you desire. Another tip is to stay close to the fire! Always stay close to your upline, close to your organization, to people who inspire you and support you to take action and grow.
“A fun fact about me is I competed in the UK Galaxy beauty pageant. I loved being able to represent women of my age and background and show that you can be a strong independent female working on her goals and dreams, yet also be a beautiful female in a pretty dress.”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER CINDY DAVERN!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Cindy Davern to the 20/20 Club! Cindy was born in New York City, NY, raised in Jackson, NJ and currently resides near the shore in Manchester, NJ, with her husband, Scott. She says, “We are almost empty nesters, and are the proud parents of two incredible young men, Scott, 26 and John, 22. I worked 35 years as a full-time Special Education Teacher before retiring three years ago. My interests are sport photography, watching my sons compete in cross country and track/field (yes, still have one competing), dancing and now traveling.
“My travel experiences have included summers with my aunt and uncle in Puerto Rico, honeymoon in Jamaica, 40th birthday in Bermuda, trips to Disney, Aruba, and Punta Cana. Fast forward to retiring, I try to travel every month! This year alone I have been to Melbourne, Tampa and Miami, Florida; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Calabash, North Carolina; Colorado Springs, Breckenridge, and Denver, Colorado; Salt Lake, Murray, Park City, Moab, Utah; and Dallas, Texas! I am loving my life in the best place on the PlanNet!
“I started this business with the need to help my boys with college. It was not about the travel; I did not even realize my passion for travel at that time. After speaking with Director Orlanda Moore in Miami this June, I realized that my why had definitely changed from when I started four years ago. My why was not about those boys, but it was about ME and who I knew I needed to be and what I needed to do for myself and others.
“I am achieving success by being consistent, staying plugged in, reading, committing to the process and remaining coachable! There are times when the business gets difficult, but I always remember this phrase by Director Rachel Russell, ‘Don’t let the process punk you out of your promise.’ I refuse to quit on myself, on my family, my business partners, and others who have poured into me. I have been told to trust the process and follow the system that is in place. In other words, duplication. I am learning to duplicate what I see my coach, sponsor, mentors and leadership doing. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel that has been invented and used.
“If I could give any of you a tip, it would be to stay consistent, stay plugged in, trust the process, be coachable, do the work, the power is in the follow-up and get out of your own way! Be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Take a mental and physical break, but don’t quit on yourself. Create duplication, lead by example and from the front! Just do it!
“Fun facts about me: I spoke Spanish the first seven years of my life! I volunteer as a foster dog mom!”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER LEYSHON EVANS!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome LeyShon Evans to the 20/20 Club! She tells us, “I am from Richmond, VA and a proud graduate of Norfolk State University. However, I moved to Atlanta, GA at a very young age because my Dad was seeking a high level management position with Delta Airlines. He accepted the job and that's where my love for travel began. We traveled everywhere. I even have pictures of me as young as two years old sitting in First Class enjoying the ‘Royal Service’ while traveling to London, Paris, Rome and the Caribbean Islands. I currently reside in Kansas City, MO where I'm an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Jack and Jill of America. My husband, Chris, and I have been married for 16 years and have three beautiful boys, Zachary, Isaiah, and Noah, and our grandson, Zachary, Jr. Chris and I vowed that we would take our children to all 50 states before they graduated. We're proud to say we only have 12 states and four years left.
“In 2019, I only started with the travel business because I did not want to be a network marketer. I was terrified of rejection and did not want to be on the emotional roller coaster ride. I kept thinking about my ‘Why’ which is financial freedom and generational wealth. I decided to get M.A.D. and join PlanNet Marketing in March of 2021. There's no turning back now....
“The reason I have achieved success is by being coachable, staying plugged in and duplicating the system. Remaining consistent and organized goes a long way in this industry. All we have to do is show up and follow the leader.
“A fun fact about me is that I have not worked for anyone since 2005. My husband and I took over his family's business of screen printing T-shirts, embroidery and promotional products and have not looked back to corporate America since. Our motto is, ‘Promoting YOU is what WE do!!!’ Now I sell T-Shirts and Travel. T-N-T BOOOOM!!!”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER LUCHANDA GENIUSZ!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Luchanda Geniusz to the 20/20 Club! Luchanda tells us, “I was born in Kingston, Jamaica to a teen mother at the tender age of 15, but I was raised and adopted by my grandaunt and her husband, where I was cared for as a child. It was at the age of six that I found passion in travelling when Dad would take me on different trips within Jamaica that allowed me to dream. I still remember my very first trip on an aeroplane and how excited I felt at six years old. After finishing high school, I studied hospitality and began to work in hotels and later migrated to South Carolina, where I currently reside with my husband and two daughters.
“My travel experiences have been amazing. Our little family enjoys going up to the mountains and renting a cabin during the winter, cruises during the summer months, and enjoying different places in the states as well as the Caribbean. My husband loves history and I always make it a point to do one thing for every person.
“I think the reason I've been achieving success is because I have a number of leaders around me whom I ask questions to daily. I try to mimic what they do as they receive success. I also told myself that if this made sense to me, then it will make sense to someone else, and just go for the no and celebrate the yes. I also ask a lot of questions and ask for help because I know I don't know it all.
“My tips are to be yourself, be transparent and honest and simply just learn the system and go to work. I'm simply breaking barriers with travel and showing people that they can enjoy life outside of where they were born.”
