COMPLIANCE CORNER
As a PlanNet Marketing Rep, your main objective is to sell our exclusive product – the InteleTravel at-home Independent Travel Agency business, or ITA. You can also build a team of other Reps who will sell ITAs.
In our online world, many Reps are leveraging social media, funnels and other electronic media to get the word out about their business and sell the product. So let’s talk about the BEST ways to market your business online.
1) Talk about Earning Money! That’s right, show me the money people. When you are selling ITAs, the very FIRST thing you should always mention is the income opportunity for the Agent – how a person can sell travel to earn travel commissions when they become an ITA. That can sound something like, “When you become an InteleTravel Agent, you can sell travel to anyone – friends, family, even yourself. You’ll earn a commission based on the travel you sell.” Don't talk about saving money by booking your own travel, just let the Agent know how they can EARN income.
2) No Agent Rates or Perks. There are definitely some benefits to being a Travel Agent, often Agents do receive special rates or extras because travel vendors want Agents to come see what they have to offer and then recommend it to their customers. HOWEVER, these are not selling features! Reps should NEVER post Agent Rates or Agent Perks when trying to sell ITAs. Stick to how Agents will earn an income – that’s the way to sell.
3) Keep Reps and Agents Separate. There are a growing number of individuals who are BOTH PlanNet Reps and InteleTravel Agents. The PlanNet Marketing Rep is selling ITAs and enrolling other Reps to earn residual income and supplement their lifestyle. The InteleTravel at-home Travel Agent is booking travel and earning commissions on those bookings. We are partners in business, but we are NOT one business. We are two separate businesses with independent and separate management, operating in two different industries. Together, we are hugely successful. It’s important for our Reps and Agents to understand this separation and clearly state who they are representing in their social media or online posting – all posts should clearly be from a PlanNet Rep or an InteleTravel Agent – but never both in the same post (as it is noncompliant and very confusing for others). Please don't say, "I'm a Travel Agent and I can show you how to be one, too!"
4) Keep It Simple. You don’t have to provide every single piece of information or 15 examples of great rates to sell the ITA. In fact, keeping things simple will most likely attract more people to your posts/pages/stories. There are videos available in your Virtual Office as well as our corporate PowerPoint Presentation to share all of that information once someone is interested. When it comes to piquing interest – talk about Earning Money from home in the fabulous travel industry! That sounds pretty great to me, others will think so too!
At PlanNet Marketing, we work very hard to provide our Reps with the tools and information they need to be successful. In our world, information is literally at our fingertips and our online audience is huge! Please remember that every word and image you post and every syllable you speak, they all reflect back on the company you represent – PlanNet Marketing.
If you don’t know the answer – please ask us. Our Support Team is available by phone and email, as well as by Support Ticket. They are incredibly responsive and always willing to assist. As always, if you have any questions about this or any Policy, please email Compliance@plannetmarketing.com.
-- PlanNet Marketing Policies and Procedures are located in your Virtual Office in the Information Center (go to Resources, then Policies and Procedures).

THE LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON: JARMAL STEVENS
1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born in Savannah, GA and I currently reside in Lawrenceville, GA. My hobbies include video production, especially producing and editing. Some of my business highlights include making the TOP 50 of Travel Advisor. I never saw that coming!
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I think one of the most underappreciated things about network marketing is the personal development. Changing your perspective on things can allow you to grow and recognize there is so much more to learn. I am a huge advocate of personal development. Once you start learning, you will find out how much you didn't know.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Being a provider for my wife and child is what really motivates me. Not having a father in my home growing up drives me to want to take care of my responsibilities as a man.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My biggest role model is my wife. She has taught me what family is all about; she sacrifices so much for our little girl. Her process on learning how to do hair, and everything that comes along with being a parent for the first time.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Passionate, humorous, and laid back.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Well, this is something I learned from Mr. Bradley. "Keep the main thing the main thing."
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Healthy, still happily married, and enjoying life to fullest.
CONGRATULATIONS TO KAYLA LEWIS FOR ACHIEVING THE 1K CREW!
CONGRATULATIONS TO PATRICIA & JAY MEANS FOR ACHIEVING THE 80/80 CLUB!
CONGRATULATIONS TO MONICA COLEMAN-JACKSON & LARRY JACKSON FOR ACHIEVING THE 40/40 CLUB!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Monica Coleman-Jackson and Larry Jacson to the 40/40 Club! Monica tells us, “I am an army brat originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, but I grew up in Macon, GA, and claim Macon as my home. I am the middle child of five and family means absolutely everything to me. I aspire to be that “rich auntie” and I absolutely love my nieces and nephews. I attended Albany State University and have a degree in political science. I also have two Master’s degrees: Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management, and Human Resource Management. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I have been employed with GEICO for 15 years, and I am married to my amazing business partner, brother in success and accountability partner, Larry Jackson. We are leading families all over the world to financial freedom.
“My motto is ‘Work hard but play harder!!’ My interests include going to the gun range, traveling, listening to live music, hanging out with my family, friends and sorors. I am a true foodie; I also enjoy exploring new restaurants and supporting local restaurants and small businesses. I’ve always had a passion for travel. A few of my favorite destinations include Aruba, Jamaica, Cabos, Costa Rica, Seattle and Houston, where I resided for three years. I love planning reunions of any sort and have planned my family reunion hosting over 200 people twice.
“My success in PlanNet Marketing has definitely come from staying plugged in, being consistent in my income-producing activity, following the proven success system that’s in place, utilizing the leverage and support of my team and my upline Directors Maria Richardson and Tisha DeShields, and never giving up!! I am self-motivated and I always want to win. I have come to the realization that my calling is helping change the poverty line of my friends and families. I get so excited about this amazing opportunity.
“When I first started, I was so busy with life that I wasn’t able to really work the business like I wanted to during the first four months. But once I started working on it, I became a Gold Builder in about four days.
“A fun fact about me is that I am left-handed and I like to freestyle rap.”
PLANNET MARKETING WELCOMES SIX NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBERS!
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER MICKELL DANIELS!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Mickell Daniels to the 20/20 Club! Mickell tells us, “I am a licensed therapist, lifestyle coach, and the proud founder of GLOW 414, a non-profit organization that has assisted well over 400 youths transition successfully into adulthood since 2017. I am a proud native of Milwaukee, WI, and grew up in the 53206 zip code (one of the nation's worst).
“Earlier this year, I invested back in my community by launching my transitional living space located above GLOW's headquarters in the very same zip code where I grew up. My current interests include:
showing others how to live out loud on purpose,
spreading mental health awareness, and
traveling the world.
"Assisting youths is my calling, but helping families grow mentally and financially is my passion, and PlanNet Marketing has been my vehicle to fulfill that passion. I thank God that my sponsor, Dionne Barnes, cared enough about my family to introduce this business to me.
“Since becoming the business owner of GLOW Travel, I have been out of the country five times and have crossed four states off my bucket list experience. These are things I could only imagine as a child growing up in the area I did. My most rewarding experience was being able to book and pay for my parents to travel via plane for the first time together with the funds I earned from PlanNet Marketing.
"PlanNet Marketing has become a part of me. I see it in my day-to-day posture now. PlanNet is truly a business that has granted me the ability to change my life and other's lives also, and to me, that is what you call success! I have unlocked this level of success by plugging in and changing my mindset. I finally decided to win, and I decided I would be unapologetic about it. You asked me what would be my advice for others? I would have to say think of your why, and next, MAKE THE DECISION TO WIN AND DO IT WITH NO EXCUSES! I witnessed my director, Shontina Gladney, show up every day as she fought for her life. Besides my babies, she became my new why. If she can still show up with no complaints, I wouldn't dare give up on helping others find their financial freedom, time freedom, and personal freedom."
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER LAWANDA HENDRIX!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Lawanda Hendrix to the 20/20 Club! Lawanda was born and raised in Compton, California, and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She tells us, “I am an Army veteran and author. I have three amazing boys. I am an avid traveler. I try to travel monthly to different places; that is my interest and passion, as well as seeing and helping others make fun memories and enjoying life. I have traveled since I was a small child to many different states, up until adulthood where I have traveled to Germany, Egypt, Mexico and Jamaica, with many more to see. I now enjoy meeting new people and building relationships after being antisocial and an introvert for years.
“The success I am achieving in PlanNet Marketing is super amazing. I am definitely grateful for this opportunity and blessed to have been introduced to it. I still have a long way to go, but I have also come a long way as well with the help of my mentors, business partners and team. Consistency and staying plugged in is the key. Always stay positive in anything you do.
“I plan to continue to grow and rise in this opportunity as far up as I can go, while remaining coachable until the end. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity and for the recognition!”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER TONYA LAPSLEY-COCKETT!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Tonya Lapsley-Cockett to the 20/20 Club! Tonya says, “I was born in Cleveland, Ohio but at the age of four, my parents separated and my Mom relocated to New York. I resided in the Bronx, New York but went back to Cleveland, Ohio from the age of ten for most summers and holidays to visit my father and his family. I resided in the Bronx, New York from 1965-2002 when I moved to Orange County, New York, where I currently reside in Newburgh, NY.
“I live with my 85-year-young mom who is a business partner too, and my husband. I have two bonus children who are now adults and a granddaughter who is three years old. She is our pride and joy. My interests are traveling, cooking, and working this business. I love helping people achieve their goals. I love to travel and was recently in Los Cabos, Mexico for our daughter's wedding. I have a 60th and 65th Aruba birthday celebration planned in November for myself and my husband, and 61st and 66th birthday cruises planned in November, 2022.
“Over the past few years, my husband and I have traveled to Aruba, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Jamaica, Barbados, Bermuda, Bahamas, Mexico, Las Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, and just about all of Florida and Georgia, just to name a few. Aruba is my favorite island.
“My success is driven by being consistent and playing follow the leader.
“Those 3-way calls and follow-up are crucial.
“Remember that prayer changes things.
“A fun fact about me is that I love dancing, cooking and entertaining people. A special thank you goes out to my Mom and Husband for bearing with me. It's only up from here. Directorship here I come!”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER MECHELLE MARCHAND!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Mechelle Marchand to the 20/20 Club! She tells us, “My name is Mechelle Marchand Brumfield. I am from Baton Rouge, LA. I am retired with almost 35 years of service from the US Post Office, where my duties as a Passport Specialist have been advantageous. I love people and I love to travel! I’ve traveled to over half of the US. My favorite travel destinations out of the country include Dubai, Jamaica, Mexico, Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, St. Thomas, Bahamas, Belize, etc.
“I attribute my success to learning my craft and being a product of the product. I just completed my first girls’ trip to Jamaica which included a group of almost 100 ladies! This alone earned me a free trip to Punta Cana and honorable mention at the President’s Club Awards Program. I pride myself on having a genuine spirit and becoming a magnet! You need to travel to sell travel effectively! Knowledge is power!
“I am a T.E.A.M. player (Together Everyone Achieves More) and I love to see everyone WIN! Never assume – share the opportunity and live the life! You will find your positive energy is what will attract others. My final words of advice: if you stay plugged in, you will earn while you learn!”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBERS RHONDA & DAVID SALONE!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Rhonda and David Salone to the 20/20 Club! Rhonda tells us, “We are both originally from San Antonio, Texas. We currently live in Bonaire, Georgia, have been married for 26 years, and have three children and three grandchildren. We have a wide range of interests, including travel, health and fitness, ballroom dancing, and most outdoor activities.
“Our travel experiences have been so much fun. We have traveled to thirty-nine states in the USA! We have also visited the Cayman Islands, Cancun, Cozumel, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas.
“Our success really comes from what we have learned during our time at PlanNet Marketing. The technique we used for most of our success is simply following the plan: Pique our partner’s interest, show them the plan, and set up three-way calls with our upline directors. Here are the principles we live by: Build a relationship prior to asking them to partner with us. We try to live by what Mr. Bradley would reiterate to the entire team, ‘people over profit,’ ‘people don’t care how much you know, they want to know how much you care,’ and don’t treat people like numbers.
“My husband and I love to travel, and in many cases, we will travel by four different modes of transportation in one day. For example, we will drive our Class A RV to a certain destination, unhook the car to travel to dinner, jump on the motorcycle and ride down the coast, and then for a nightcap we will jump on our road bikes for exercise.
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER KELLIE SMITH!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Kellie Smith to the 20/20 Club! Kellie says, “I live on the beautiful southeast coast (the sea is my happy place) in a seaside town of Brighton, with my two teenage children, Casey (15) and Devon (13), and how can I forget my diva dog, Betty! For as long as I can remember, I have always had a complete obsession with traveling, people, culture, music; just a REAL thirst for living life where every moment is cherished. I have been lucky enough to experience some incredible places and people all around the world; wherever I have gone, my children have gone with me.
“My background is in the arts. I earned a Bachelor of the Arts then went on to gain my Master's in Fine Arts in photography, having exhibited around the world as a fine art photographer, meeting some of the most talented, inspirable people. My passion has always been people. I love people watching, watching manners and hearing stories. I am a complete nerd when it comes to storyboard images and characters. Honestly, I could listen to people all day.
“Traveling is in my blood, so I guess you can say I was born to travel. As a child, I remember listening to stories of my grandad's adventures in the RAF, the places he visited and lived, and the people he met along the way. I was completely taken in by my grandad's stories as a child. To this day, I remember the excitement of sitting on the floor in front of his feet just waiting in anticipation for the next instalment of his great adventure. Now I tell those stories to my children; the imagination is such a gift.
“I have been completely blessed to have travelled and seen such wonders of the world. I have been to South America and danced my way through the streets with the vibrations of the music making your insides vibrate, the air filled with the smoking flavours of the food. Making snow angels at Niagara Falls, then heading off to drink bourbon next to a roaring fire. Island hopped through Greece, which is completely magical, spent weeks walking the ancient lanes of Athens with my friends who call Athens home, danced the nights away in Berlin, tribal dancing in the African desert on the warm sand, living in Valencia, Spain when I was 19 – this is just a small clip of the amazing memories I have of travelling, and I have not stopped yet.
“I got married in Sorrento, Italy in a 17th century monks' cloister which my husband arranged; otherwise, if it were left to me, we never would have gotten married!! Mount Vesuvius is In all my wedding photos. You cannot go to Sorrento without visiting the historical site of Pompeii.
“As for my interests, I love culture, people, stories, the arts, I read a book a week, I absorb everything like a sponge. Normally you will find me on the beach swimming, wakeboarding, paddleboarding...I am a complete water baby and so are my children.
“I believe this is an amazing opportunity for all passion-driven travel junkies like myself – I think outside of the box looking for challenges, which is why all my ROCK STAR team are in the US while I am in the UK. Believe me, it has not been easy with VERY late nights, but I would not change a thing and I have loved every minute. Everyone completely amazes me every day with their achievements just by challenging myself to think outside of the box. It is paying off every day and I could not be prouder. This is just the beginning; I cannot wait to see where this incredible business takes me. The one bit of advice I would give everyone is consistency, every small achievement leads to the bigger achievements. Do not be afraid to challenge yourself, as you might even surprise yourself.
A fun fact about myself – well, there are a lot of things!!! A portrait of my bottom was put on the side of a skyscraper in Long Island for 15 minutes!”
