Don’t let the ease of this business fool you – PlanNet might not be your number one income earner, but if you want to be successful, you need to start treating this business as a BUSINESS.
How to Treat Your Business Like a Business:
1) Make a Plan. Not just a thought in your head type of plan either – write it down. Write down your goals for the next 30, 60, 90, 365 days. Write down steps to reach those goals – how are you going to find new Reps and sell ITAs? Will you spend money on advertising? Use social media to advertise for free? Figure out your strategy and then come up with some actions to carry it out. Create a list of what you can do each day to grow your business – contacting new prospects, following up with current prospects, connecting with your current upline or downline, planning to attend local or online events. A plan will keep you on track.
2) Create a Schedule. Businesses have business hours. You’re running a business, so set aside a specific time frame each day, week, month for your business. Defining when you’ll do the things you wrote down in step 1 is super important. It’s too easy to prop your feet up and watch TV, folks.
3) Invest in Your Education. I’m not talking about college – I mean your BUSINESS education. PlanNet Marketing offers daily and weekly calls and webinars as well as weekly and monthly Zoom meetings in the US, UK and Mexico. We also host an annual International Convention. Don’t miss a meeting you are qualified to attend! Get yourself on calls and to virtual events (and hopefully some in person events later this year!).
4) Track Results. Keep track of how you’re doing. If you created a 60-day goal to get three new Reps on your team and at the end of that 60 days you have five new Reps, you’re gonna want to see that growth and duplicate those same efforts! In the same way, if you get three new Reps in the first 30 days and no one in the second 30 days, maybe you want to look back and see what you did differently in the second half of that time frame. Tracking your results helps you see what works for you, and what does not. It’s also an excellent way to keep your plan as your focus.
5) Don’t Ignore Your Business. Might seem like a no brainer, but don’t ignore this business – make sure you stay active! You are investing money to take part in this and you should log in to your Virtual Office AT LEAST once a month to ensure you remain active – it would probably be a wise idea to log in more often and put the extra effort into growing your business, too! To enjoy all the benefits of being a Rep with PlanNet Marketing, you must remain active by paying your monthly account fee of $19.95. If you don’t pay your monthly fee, you risk missing out on commissions! An inactive Rep is no longer eligible to receive weekly commissions. A Rep who is inactive for 30 days or more is no longer eligible to earn residual commissions. A Rep who allows their business to remain inactive for 60 days or more will lose all rights to their downline and Matrix position. If that Rep doesn’t reactivate within the 60-day grace period, PlanNet considers their account cancelled and their agreement with PlanNet is expired. We monitor for inactive accounts and turn them off weekly. The Rep who owned the now canceled account must re-enroll (under the same sponsor) and begin building their team from scratch. Ranks or qualifications from the old account do not transfer to the new one.
When you take your business seriously and treat it like a real business, others will see that and respect it. They will want to join you! Just try it and see. For a growing number of Reps, PlanNet Marketing is now Plan A – the main income source for their family, and it could be for you too. “I love to walk and spend most days walking along the beach whatever the weather. I also enjoy hotpod yoga and reading, mainly self-help books. My fave at the moment is the Secret series by Rhonda Byrne.
“I have always had a passion for holidays, and until recently, I was a tour manager for Traveleyes, a company taking blind people on holidays all over the world. It was such an amazing experience describing the world to a blind person.
“I am loving the business and do not feel as though it is work. I love the concept of helping people and not only traveling smarter and earning commissions, but helping them grow in confidence, and individually, too. My team is growing quickly because we all help and encourage each other. They are all such lovely people and are an incredible community.
“I love trying new activities, especially on holiday in sunny climes. 1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in Surrey, UK. I now have a family of my own who are my entire life. My husband, Scott, was the person who told me to go for this business and my two young daughters now play “travel business owners” together. It's the cutest thing! I love dancing and singing, although I’m not very good. I went to stage school for ten years! My greatest business achievement was hitting Directorship and getting my PlanNet Pledge; that was everything.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I’ve grown so much as a person since I started my journey; I now have more confidence in myself.
The biggest change that others close to me are noticing is my newfound joy for life. This business is so unbelievably fulfilling. Helping others learn how to travel smarter and create more memories is magical. To think that I’ve played a part in that blows my mind.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My biggest drive to succeed is my “why.” I’m doing this business for my daughters. They watch me like a hawk and I want to make sure they’re inspired to go after their dreams with conviction and never ever stop too. The importance of self-belief is something I want them to pass down to their children.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My dad has to be one of my biggest inspirations. His work ethic was a force to be reckoned with. He has taught me everything I know about being professional in business, leading by sheer example and just being a good person who others will want to go into business with.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Three words to describe me would have to be passionate, driven and in love with life!
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
The most valuable advice I could give to anyone in this business is to believe in yourself, our service, and the power you have to positively impact so many people’s lives, including your own!
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
My life five years from now looks like my family and I in our dream home, having complete financial freedom, and having travelled the world with business. I’m already so proud of what I’m creating and I know in five years time I’ll look back and thank myself for giving something I adore doing 110% of my time and energy.

I also want her to know that life has no limits and that women can be successful and independent. Lyla and I have enjoyed travelling together and before the age of seven, she has been to Greece, Spain, Germany, France, Turkey, Ireland, Italy, and Denmark, with plenty more trips coming up.
