MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER SABRINA KNAPP!

Sabrina-Knapp-2020-Banner.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Sabrina Knapp to the 20/20 Club! When asked about her interests she replied, “I work. A lot! But when I'm not, family time and road trips and traveling is our thing!!  It's nothing for us to take off for a couple of days and hit a zoo or a park and stay in a hotel and order pizza! I love to spend time with my family. My husband and I have three children, two are grown and on their own. Our 12-year-old tags along wherever we go…we love to just hang out, the three of us, together. We are pretty easy going!

“My husband and I have been married going on 14 years. We also own and run a large BBQ steakhouse. Our staff is amazing, so we are able to run the business side more now. That being said, we still travel with the restaurant cycle. Slow time is January. And we are cruisers! Every January is our cruise time. The southern Caribbean is our very favorite and we've spent the last ‘few’ Januaries down there! We take short trips with our families as well, to different places in the US; Door County, WI is one of our favorites. I lost my mother to breast cancer and my husband lost his father to heart failure, both in 2016. Life is so very short. We make sure that we have a lot of memories with our parents and our kids with their grandparents!

“To achieve success, listen to your leaders! My Directors and mentors and friends, Kim Del Monaco and Bea Picou, have been amazing support and mentors. They've been there. I know that I will continue to succeed if I follow their lead. Stay positive. This business is rough. People don’t have the same mindset as you, and it's easy to get brought down. Keep your goals in mind. There is a reason I started this business and my determination will be the reason I get to where I want to go!

“Fun fact: I'm a singer! My family and I had a southern gospel group and traveled the midwest singing in churches and schools and events. We grew up, moved on, and did other things, but I LOVE to sing.

“I really appreciate the opportunity to share. This business has opened up so many possibilities for me and my family. My husband and I work very hard for our goals and this company proves that with hard work, the ladder to true success isn't as tall as you think it is!”

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER EMMA PETRIE!

Emma-Petrie-2020-banner-and-article.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Emma Petrie to the 20/20 Club! Emma shares, “My name is Emma but I prefer to be called Em. This is because when I was younger, my younger sister used to say my name in a really patronizing way so I decided to shorten it…haha in your face, Becky! I live in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, UK with my two beautiful children, Lucas (age 7) and Madison (age 3).

“I have done a lot of travelling; my parents made sure I went abroad at least once a year ever since I was born, so I was very lucky; but they were never very adventurous so we stuck to going to Spain. My parents always refer to me as ‘the destroyer’ and ‘mouth on legs.’ The destroyer was because I always manage to break things. I remember when I was 13, my parents trusted my sister and me to share a room in Blackpool, and the next minute I went and broke the door off the wardrobe! My parents came rushing in when they heard the bang, asking ‘What have you broken now?’ The ‘mouth on legs’ nickname is probably self explanatory – I never stop talking. In fact, they always said my ideal job would be working on the shopping channel Bid-Up TV; however, I find that quite insulting because I mean they could have at least said QVC.

“I have been with PlanNet Marketing since February. 2019 and decided to start building my team in March, and I have never looked back since. I absolutely love the business and I have already made so many friends and it’s changed my life! I don’t really have a secret to my success because I am just doing the same thing as everyone else – following the system – but I consistently do the business every day, some days I work 12 hours a day! I set myself business working hours and goals.

“Positive mindset and perseverance is the key! Oh and watching Frazer Brookes, he is so funny!”

COMPLIANCE CORNER

Amanda-Restivo175.jpg

You own your own business – you are an Independent Marketing Representative for PlanNet Marketing. This means you make your own hours, do your own marketing and pay your own taxes. There’s no “time clock” or “hourly wages” or “employee handbook.” The time freedom, financial freedom and personal freedom this arrangement affords is what draws so many of our Reps to start a business with PlanNet Marketing. But just because you’re in the business of you, doesn’t mean you’re all alone.

Even when you own your own business, you are in partnership with others – other businesses and other people. Your behavior, your work ethic, your motivation or lack thereof, affects those others. To protect our Reps (you and your team as well as other Reps and their teams) and to protect PlanNet Marketing and InteleTravel – there are some rules we’ve put into place. These rules are the PlanNet Marketing Policies and Procedures

Some of you have never been a business owner before. You may not think you should be required to follow the rules of other companies – PlanNet or InteleTravel. You may not be concerned with what others think of your social media posts or your website or your marketing materials. You may not even respond to requests for your attention to business matters. These are things that all business owners will learn eventually, but to help you out, I’m telling you today – those things are IMPORTANT to running a successful and prosperous business.

Compliant-rubber-stamp.jpg

As a business owner with PlanNet Marketing, it is your responsibility to follow PlanNet’s rules and United States federal laws, as well as any local laws for your country, region or city. Our rules begin by encouraging our Reps to always behave in a professional manner, putting forth their best effort to be positive, peaceful, and encouraging to those they meet while doing PlanNet business. This means if you’re speaking to someone about PlanNet or its owners or employees or other Reps – you say kind, positive and professional things. Don’t cuss, don’t gossip, don’t air your negative feelings about a bad experience on social media.

Are you ALLOWED to do and say anything you please? Of course! You ARE the owner of your business. However, if you choose to conduct your business in an unprofessional way, not following rules, not behaving in an ethical manner, or choosing not to respond to requests for your attention to your business – there are consequences. I won’t outline them all here today, but I would encourage you to view the “Disciplinary Sanctions” section of the Policies and Procedures. There you will find an extensive list of the consequences for not properly, professionally managing your business. As always, if you have questions about following the policies and procedures of PlanNet Marketing, you can email me directly at compliance@plannetmarketing.com.

Owning a business can be a huge blessing, it can afford freedoms in your work life and personal life that you might not otherwise experience. But there are always rules, guidelines and best practices that will allow you to prosper as a business owner. Lean on those around you, encouraging them and showing them respect. In doing so you’ll find your business the center of a bursting metropolis, not a lonely island.

PLANNET MARKETING WELCOMES THREE NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBERS!

2020-logo-text.jpg

Each week we will list the new 20/20 Club Members as soon as their pictures are received so that their recognition will be timely. The personal 20/20 Club features will continue; currently there are many 20/20 Club Members who have sent in their bios, but due to the growing number, have not yet been featured in the blog. Watch for your bio in future editions of PlanNetNow!

Recognition is very important and we hope this new format shows how much we value our 20/20 Club Members! Congratulations to everyone who has achieved this very important level in your PlanNet business!

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER ANNE DARNTON!

AnneDarnton2020club2.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome One-Star Director Anne Darnton to the 20/20 Club! Anne is from Glasgow, Scotland but now lives in Warwickshire, England.  She homeschools her daughter and says this business works perfectly around that and family life.

Anne shares, “My favourite things are to plan our travel, enjoy the travel, and then journal and scrapbook about that travel when I get back!  I like to read and I like to go out with friends and have great conversations. Amazing trips have included Iceland, Istanbul, Tuscany, Florida and Sanibel Island, the Rockies, Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard, a six-week road trip in France, and many trips to the British seaside.

“My biggest tip would be to be consistent even when you can’t see results immediately; plant the seed and keep going. Reach out to mentors and ask them to check your process, keep plugging in, reading and staying positive, and then run, don’t walk, with this amazing opportunity.

“My fun fact is that along with some friends, I buried a time capsule on the banks of Loch Lomond almost 25 years ago – hoping we can still find it in the future and dig it up!”

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER ROBERT MCBRIDE!

Robert-McBride-2020-Banner.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Robert McBride to the 20/20 Club! Originally from South Carolina, Robert spent his adult career life in Washington D.C. As a retiree, he now lives in Edmond, Oklahoma with his wife. Robert tells us, “I am what is known as a ‘gym rat.’ You can always find me at the gym every day except Sunday. I do five miles one day, the next day, three miles. My other interest is sports – all sports. I played ball all over DC, playing well into my 50s. I forgot to mention I’m 73!

“People from my era didn’t go on big vacations and I don’t know of anyone who went on an exotic vacation. I was fortunate that I lived close enough to Myrtle Beach that we could go to the black section of the beach. Since my retirement, I have visited several beaches, always taking time to jog the beach. I have plans to jog more beaches and see much more.

“COMMITMENT AND CONSISTENCY is the way I conduct my life and it is also the way I conduct my business. I am all in. I believe you must be more than 100% committed to your dream. You have to perform / work at a level higher than 100%. That’s the way I do my business! I go out every day and show my business it is the commitment. I don’t rely on people coming to me; I go out and find them myself! Because this is MY business. I don’t have any excuses. When I worked for someone else, I never took a sick day. I never took a bad weather day or a ‘just because’ day. So why would I take a day off when it’s my business? Why would I take a day off because it’s raining? Why would I take a day off from something that promises to fulfill MY dream?

“I thank PlanNet Marketing for the opportunity because PlanNet Marketing is making a difference for me and my family. Anyone who has been around me knows my mantra…I call it knocking down nails.”
