“I am from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, born and raised. My family roots are from a place called Stateline, Mississippi – located in Greene County (the poorest county in the poorest state in the U.S.) I live in Bethany, Oklahoma, a suburb of OKC, and have worked for the Oklahoma City Fire Department for over 28 years. By day I put out physical fires and save physical lives – but at night I put out the Financial Fires and I save Financial Futures through the fabulous Project.
“I’ve been married for over 20 years to my lovely wife, Flecelia (Lisa) Leverett, and we have two wonderful children: a 27-year-old son, Justin, who is serving active duty in the Air Force in London, and one daughter, Ebony, who is 23 years old and lives here in Oklahoma City as well.
“I have two granddaughters: Athena, who is 6 years old, and Caliah, who is 3 years old. They are MY WHY!! - to spend quality time watching and assisting in their upbringing. Athena has been to London, Germany, Paris and the Bahamas, all by the age of 6. This business has allowed her to have a passport that is being used. I do this business so that neither of my granddaughters will HAVE TO spend EVERY summer in Stateline, Mississippi.

COMPLIANCE CORNER
I enjoy cooking. While a part of this joy comes from a delicious home cooked meal, there is a larger part that comes from knowing I created that delicious meal. When I watch others enjoy it too? Icing on the proverbial cake, folks.
French toast, lasagna, chicken and dumplings – oh man, I’m getting hungry just thinking about making all my favorite dishes.
Here’s what’s interesting. When I say “lasagna,” you don’t need me to say, “layers and layers of meaty red sauce with crumbles of beef and Italian sausage, chopped veggies and gobs of Italian cheese – mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan.” We all basically KNOW what a lasagna is, right? Some people like theirs with spinach instead of meat, some people even prefer some white sauce mixed in, but it’s all lasagna.
When you’re presenting the PlanNet Marketing Compensation Plan, you don’t have to explain every detail for people – you don’t need to say, “I made $250 when I sold five ITAs in my second week,” and you shouldn’t!! All you have to say is, “Every time you sell an ITA, you get paid $50. Every time. No exceptions, no limits.” Five ITA sales will always earn $250 in weekly commissions, nine ITA sales will earn $450, and so on and so forth - they can do the math. Just like the lasagna, people can see the potential in all those layers. They don’t need your specific recipe to make lasagna happen for them. Right?
PlanNet Marketing discourages the use of personal earnings statements and suggested earnings potential, such as “I made X dollars in commissions from ITA sales” or even the more vague statements like, “I was able to pay off my debt and buy my dream house.” We are truly humbled that so many of you are experiencing these types of freedoms in your lives, but we must be careful how we talk about them to prospects. Not every Rep will have the same story, not every Rep will work as hard as you work, not every Rep will earn what you earn.
Statements that use your past earnings or your lifestyle claims as an enticement to get new Reps to enroll or new ITAs sold are against Policies and Procedures. Don’t do it! You don’t NEED TO! We have an incredible product and a fantastic compensation plan. They can stand on their own. Just present the product we have and talk about the compensation plan that’s in place – don’t try to use yourself or your team as an example. It’s tempting, I know it is, because you feel like you just made a killer lasagna and you want EVERYONE to know how to make their own. Give them a piece – just don’t start handing out that recipe until after they enroll.

One of PlanNet Marketing’s newest One-Star Directors is Shaketta Giles, from Conyers, GA. She tells us that her travel experiences consist of the Bahamas, Boston, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Florida, and Colorado. She looks forward to traveling internationally in 2018.
Shaketta shares that she has always been interested in helping other people. It gives her joy to know that she has helped someone achieve their goals and/or improve their current circumstances.
Shaketta relates, “ am truly thankful for PlanNet Marketing. I have been successful within PlanNet Marketing by following the system; it works!! Do not change the system or deviate from the system - it will only minimize your success. Remain coachable, listen to your upline, and definitely plug in. New 20/20 Club Member Sharonda Johnson tells us she is a proud single mother of two lovely children and was born, raised, and lives in Oklahoma City, OK. She has traveled extensively across the United States, and has been to Cancun and Canada. Her dream vacation is to visit Barcelona and Greece. She says, “Through this business, it’s going to happen!”
She continues, “I'm a huge sports fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys! I'm a music lover, from rap to classical music, and I love helping others. I've been an entrepreneur in the beauty industry for 24 years, and the keys to my success in PlanNet Marketing are some of the keys that I took from my origin and experience in the beauty industry.
“When I started in the beauty industry, my endeavor was against the grain of what people close to me said I should do. I've always respected my family and friends for being gainfully employed and being seemingly comfortable doing so, but I wanted something different. I wanted control of my time and I love serving people and making them happy; so, against conventional wisdom with no clients or experience, I made a decision to follow my passion and the rest is history in the making. Ironically, the same was the case when I was approached about this wonderful opportunity. It was foreign to me; however, I drew from my passion to serve others.
I wanted to provide for myself and my children - a legacy income and total time freedom, which is something my vocation doesn't provide, because if I don't show up for work no income is derived. New 20/20 Club Member Doris R. Gerow is a native of Baltimore, MD and now resides in Sumter, SC. She is a graduate of Morris College and has a BS in Business Administration with a Computer Science minor. She has been a business owner for over 26 years, including owner and operator of Sumter Saver Magazines (est. 1996), Tropical Paradise Food Vendor (est. 2001), Gold Beaded Jewelry by Doris (est. 2013), and Independent Travel Agent (est. 2016)! She is the single parent of her 12-year-old daughter, Tristan Tripp.
Doris shares, “Besides making money, my hobbies include traveling, concerts, reading, and many outdoor activities. But my love for travel and interacting with people inspired me into the partnership with PlanNet Marketing and InteleTravel. Measuring my rise to this level is based on ambition, drive, and a desire to want more by doing more. My advice to anyone who is beginning - just remember if you want it, there is no reason to quit. Just remember the reason you started. There will always be excuses, but not opportunities.
